With the many lay offs and jobs lost it still amazes me that the majority of people still look to the same “band aid” tactic to cover up a “gash” that needs stitches! Let’s face it, the truth is the economy needs consumers and in order to produce consumers the economy definitely needs people to start making some serious money….but how is it possible if no one is hiring or people keep losing their jobs? Here’s a solution, stop living beyond your means or if you intend to live a good lifestyle stop working/looking for jobs making minimum wage! It’s time to take a stand against the norm! It’s time to grab hold of your future and, time to start deciding what you’re worth! No longer should you let a JOB decide whether you are worth 8.50/hour or 10.00/hour! Don’t get it twisted though, a Career is and might be simple but not easy to do every single day. With a career your attitude and work ethic actually matters, and you actually have to work hard and earn your prizes and benefits…question is are you up for that challenge? Recognition goes a very long way! When I ask people out of money, advancement and recognition which one of those would push them to work harder, a lot of people answer me with recognition. What is recognition? What are you willing to do for recognition? And exactly what do you achieve with recognition? After much thought I came to a realization that recognition is all about pride. The pride you take in your work and sacrifices, and when you give it all you’ve got, that recognition makes all the sacrifices and hard work you put into it makes it all worth it! After all when you work for recognition the more opportunities you have to advance, the more opportunities you have to advance the more money you make! And everyone loves making money right?!
